Ten sessions will assist participants in developing and articulating their own religious values. It is helpful, but not required, to have your own copy of the text. Books are available from the UUA Bookstore at www.uua.org/bookstore, $16.00.
Youth Groups The High School Youth Group and Middle School Youth Group are both off and running. Starting in November, Middle School Youth Group members created handmade greeting cards to sell, and have raised enough money to contribute a flock of ducks or chicks to Heifer International. The MSY Group will meet on Sunday, January 9th and 23rd, at 7:00 pm in the basement of the Coffee House. Advisors are Sharyl Seese, Tim Johnson, Phyllis Shoemaker, and Beatrice Hitchcock. The High School Youth Group is tentatively planning a trip to Nicaragua to do hands-on work at an orphanage. This will require extensive fund-raising from the group. Meetings this month are on Sunday the 16th and the 30th, at 7:00 pm in the basement of the Coffee House. Advisors are Kristina Erhart-Ursel, Deborah Dixon, Lori Landstrom and Beatrice. |
