Volunteers needed for set-up

I am looking for volunteers for setup/take down and for a snack to be served with the coffee.  These are the dates that I would like you to look at  and sign up for. If everyone will do a Sunday, we wouldn't have to do it again for 3 months ( 3 or 4 times a year). The setup can be done in about 1/2 hour and taking down usually everyone helps with that.  Raylene and/or Mike makes the coffee. If you would give me a 1st and 2nd choice it could help.

Then we will start a new list in November for the  January, February & March. If you sign up for a date and find you can not be  there, it will be your responsibly to trade with  someone else.  It will be printed in the news letter and I will also try to call you the week before.

Adoption/Foster Care Forum

In keeping with National Adoption Awareness Month, a forum is scheduled for Wednesday night, November 2.   Information on adoption and foster care issues will be discussed as well as resources and general “how to’s”.  Elaine Cordova, an adoption pre and post support specialist from Anchorage will lead the forum.  We would like to see a good turnout so spread the word.  Also, please bring snacks. (finger food) If you have any questions or suggestions for those on the panel, please give me a call.

Religious Exploration:
Classes for pre-school through elementary age take place during part of the Sunday worship service. Youth Group meets Sunday evenings. We are still in need of people to help with the younger children.  Call the RE committee chair Trish Hart or president Naomi Fischer @ 362-1788
